I bought another GIR cashmere sweater and also complained about the weirdly long sleeves. Am I secretly a T-rex? No. I'm short but I think my arms are of normalish length. The rest of the sweater is flawless -- it's incredibly soft and cozy and had very minimal pilling upon first wear. I am docking a star for (a) the exorbitant price if not bought on sale, and (b) the weirdly long sleeves. Am I the only one who's experiencing this? What is happening. Also this was a women's sweater, not unisex, so I sized up (I am a 34DD-DDD for reference and am a medium to a large depending on the brand) and it's quite roomy, even in the chest. I rolled up the sleeves and will just live with the knowledge that I am not a 5'11" supermodel.

The aubergine is a beautifully bright tone. The fit is right to the waist with plenty of room in the arms for layering underneath. I am 5’9” 138lb and usually a medium. My size was sold out at the time, so I went for the small, and I am very happy.
