The Wild Rag

My daughter and I both have it. In this exact color combo. It's a sophisticated neutral combo that looks more elevated/sophisticated than the bright or pastel color combos, in my opinion. I was insane and ordered five colors--intending to choose only one--but had a shitty week (I mean--the worst) and ended up keeping two--this and the midnight/butter. I don't think I'm going to regret it. My daughter and I have the same taupe trench coat and this particular "rag" looks amazing with it. It takes on more whimsical (dare I say "wild") vibes with my barn jacket--also with denim. (Out of the 5, the chestnut and pink was my third choice, but also great. The light brown/light aqua combo was a little too washed out with my coloring. The red was the perfect shade of dark blood red but maybe too literal (as bandana) and less elevated and more playful to me for that reason.) The colorful ones might work better on a younger customer--although my fashionable 25 year-old mini-me chose this color combo as I had mentioned. I saw other color options on Revolve/FWRD; I would guess that most of those are probably sold out too. You should probably pull the trigger if you see one available. GIR has a good return policy if you don't love it. (you will)

It's a generous size, mid-weight and extremely soft. It's beautiful quality and just as well-designed on both sides/completely reversible. I appreciate the blue being very dark--it's more faltering to my skin and more elevated than a medium blue would have been. There are several ways to wear it--and it works well with both coats/jackets or just a sweater (and doesn't necessarily have to be matchy/matchy. I've worn it with a neutral green sweater--as well as with a dark blood red one.) I've had an extremely depressing week (you don't want to know) and in this case, something cozy, high quality and somewhat cheerful has been as helpful as anything has been. No regrets here. Maybe you should just treat yourself.
